Seeking to Prevent Billionaires’ Row 2.0
Tribeca zoning allows as many as seven new “supertall” structures (those with a height greater than 1,000 feet), one of which—the 90-story tower at Independence Plaza, in light green—has been proposed. Two supertalls already exist, in dark green: 56 Leonard at left and 111 Murray at right. Six supertalls, in yellow, are possible, including a cluster of three, at right at the BMCC site.
