Church Street School of Music and Art’s Event was Quite an Event

March 7, 2018 By Robert Simko Leave a Comment

More than 250 people attended last night’s annual event celebrating and supporting one of Lower Manhattan’s most cherished institutions, Church Street School for Music and Art.

Peter Braus and Dwight Yellen were honored for their guidance in enabling the school to, literally, have “a new lease on life,” as Dr. Lisa Ecklund-Flores, put it. Earlier this year, the school opened in its new space at 41 White Street.

The Event, Church Street’s annual fundraiser, took place at the Tribeca Rooftop and included a music-filled evening of cocktails, silent and live auctions, and musical performances.

Money raised goes to support the programs offered at Church Street.
