Dozens of Local Joints Participate in Restaurant Week
New York’s several-times-a-year foodfest, Restaurant Week, starts next Tuesday, January 21, and continues for almost three weeks, until Saturday, February 9. For those who get nosebleeds when venturing uptown, the good news is that there are more local restaurants participating that you could possibly get to, even if you visited one each day. Below, a list of 40 local eateries where two-course lunches and three-course dinners are offered for $30, $45, and $60. In many of these locations, everyday prices are significantly higher than Restaurant Week offerings, which makes this value proposition a compelling opportunity to try places that might ordinarily be outside your budget.
