Dear editor,
It’s great news to hear about the effort to get our Battery Park City “neighbors” to participate in this year’s Tunnel to Towers race. The more the merrier. However, how about a Kudo or two to your local Tribeca CERT team which has been at the Tunnel to Towers FINISH line doing crowd control since 2007!!!
We did it alone for many years, but as the race grew from a few thousand to 20,000 or more we reached out to other CERT teams city wide to help us. Tribeca CERT and other CERT teams will be back again at the corner of Murray and West Streets from 8AM on keeping the roadway clear and guiding the runners to their Finish.
