Trump Protests outside of Goldman Sachs

Posted on January 20, 2017January 20, 2017

Dear editor:
Your story about occupying Goldman Sachs in Tribeca motivated me to share my brief, previous observation about the future.

Recitative: Trump’s appointments of partisan, corrupt billionaires as heads of key government agencies, together with GOP total control of the divisions of government, is a deadly, dramatic omen that does not require a Nostradamus to predict the future of the US and world… so cover your assets and exercise your right to free speech and assembly.

Remember, iconic economist Adam Smith said that if you put three (rich) entrepreneurs together in a room, they will figure out a way to corner a market.

Good luck to us all.
Sy Schleimer

To the editor:
The protests have been under-reported, so it is great to see the coverage by a Lower Manhattan media outlet. And the reporter did a wonderfully deft job of tying together Trump’s campaign rhetoric with current appointments.

Thanks!
